Comment: Trucktrax IO Board: This provides +5Vsb for the PCM-9372 processor board, also has 4 Digital Outputs, and some digital inputs for talking to the outside world, and 4 Analog inputs. One of which goes to the Battery. So it knows what the power source coming in is. The other 3 Analog inputs are 4mA-20mA loops. The Rabbit Core board on top controls it all, and has a debugging menu in it when it first starts up that you can use to get info on all the ports, and query the GPS as well. If you power the box directly from the outside power plug, then you have to watch out. If the rabbit sees that the outside world isn't changing. (No movement from the GPS, no changes on the IO lines, no analog inputs) then it assumes that the truck has stopped, and it should shut down. And that will turn off the power supply for the Processor board.

Comment: Yeah, I am trying to get much better using the flash, but it's hard to do at the con. The trick is to be the right distance away and have enough other light sources. The flash is supposed to be used to just fill in shadows not for general illumination. It's hard to get the 5 Meters (16 Feet) back in a hallway w/o having a dozen people walk between you.
