On September 14th, we took a flight with Jim Ude around the Olympic Mountains, the San Juan Islands, and then back past our new house in Port Angeles. We were lucky to get this flight by winning an auction item for the Port Angeles High School Band Booster Endowment fund, which provides scholarships for band students. We had donated in the past, and had already given some earlier in the evening. But how could I resist an unmarked envelope? Well, seems that everyone else could, so WE WON! and wow, it was AWESOME!
