Well, we finally got married
Some of the pictures are up
Here

A small sample of Ute's (the photographers) photos are up as a flash slide show http://www.fotoartphotography.net

If you have more to add send em over, and I'll put them into the gallery.
There are also some pictures of our walk through of the Butchart Gardens we did before the wedding.

Better Late then Never
Ok, so I have been lax in updating the news section.
Here are some new things to check out.

Sakura Con 2008:
We actually made it this year. Had to unexpectedly miss it last year.

Seedy the Robot!
Finally the robot is really coming together.
I got the display working last weekend. (An Osram 128x64 OLED), which was the final major untested component. I already got the quadrature decoding work. (And it can keep up with the motors at full speed.) The motor driver IC works, and so does the line sensor board; reading all 12 line sensors.

Also on the Robot front, I've been doing some playing around with the Maximum Robotics protoboard prototype. I just did some simple stuff, as with no solder mask it was getting tricky to get a lot of dense protoy stuff on there. This will be a great product though! The Mega164p/324p/644p are great processors, esp for robotics type applications. And this board is sized small enough to be Mini-Sumo legal. As well it exactly fits a standard Polycase box, making for really professional looking installations for those one off projects. So check it out. :) (Not a paid endorsement, I gave the prototype back so they could use it themselves some more.)

Faulhaber Motors and Robotics
I picked up a few of these. (Ok about 40 of them) recently, and have been playing around. I know a lot of others have also been using them. So I decided to take one all apart, and look inside. Also I put up the documentation for the motor and gearbox for those that might find the information useful.
